TOPIC: Responses to the new pricing structure

Starting Feb 15th (I believe) Dreamstime changed their pricing structure yet again. See this link for details.

Anyhow, I am interested in how things are going for others. So far I have not noticed an increase in income, is this an example of supply and demand. If you raise the price, people go elsewhere, so while we make more per download, we have less downloads.

thoughts?

I had a sharp increase in income for a couple of weeks but it has since returned to normal. We shall see I suppose.

Sales overall have slowed for me on several agencies. Dreamstime seems to be no exception. I think there is a general need for some good promotion out there.

I am actually using a bunch of illustrations to create a coffee table book of one of my kids. When people ask me where I got the images I'll tell them!

I think we each can do our part to show how this stuff can be used. I put a stock image on almost everythin I do and people alway ask where I got the cool picture.

Dreamstime has fallen out of my top 3 agencies for the last 4 months. Things picked up a bit however this month, though I'll have to see how we end up.

I have learned to not try and guess how much I'll make in a month, I am always wrong. If only people bought photos linearly.
