A huge part of my life as a photographer is trying to minimize the amount of time I spend editing and uploading. In other words, I try to maximize my workflow efficiency.

One of the biggest challenges with stock photography is all of the sites you can upload stock to and how different their interfaces are. Not to mention the fact that an image may get rejected one place and approved in another.

How do the pros handle this situation? Is there software I can use? I'm open to suggestions.

After I process my images I break them down into folders of 10, 20, etc...pick a number good for you. I go with the number that is the minimum I can submit to any of the sites per week. So if my minimum is 20, then that is the size of the folder that I will upload. I use only FTP and upload to all the sites at once. After all the batch of images have been uploaded to each site, then I move those images to a complete folder. I log into each site respectably and submit. I don't keep track of who accepts what and who does not sense I know the whole batch was uploaded to each site.
