Good afternoon...
Being fairly new to microstock, I only have a few uploads on about 6 sites and already I can see I'm REALLY going to need a system to keep track of things. Just wondering how others do this....how do you keep track of what you've uploaded to which sites, which ones got rejected, which ones you want to work on and try to resubmit, which new photos you want to submit but want to work on first etc etc. I can see this can get out of hand in a hurry and I can't imagine how you folks with a thousand or so images do it.

If you would share your thoughts it would be appreciated.

Thanks
Kim

Kim,

this is a really great question and I am also interested in the answers that others have. I organize my photos into groups of 10-20 and upload the group to each site. I don't really track each photos for acceptance, etc. (Though I do read every rejection to know what to work on).

I am making backup copises of images on CDs, and every CD represent one month. So everything I upload on fotolia, is on those CDs sorted by months.

Yes backing up is a good idea. I think that tracking every image is a good idea when you first start out, it helps you improve your work. When you hit 200-300 images, start the set concept. Submit a set of 30-40 and see how they go. Then adjust and create more.

Good luck!
