hi everyone....
I m now doing a lot of silhouettes in illustrator for microstock and get many times rejected with these in vectorstock (because the paths are not detailed enough...)
did anybody know how the companies value the illustrations...i mean how can i avoid rejections because of poor detail? is there a tool or a plugin for illustrator wich the inspectors use to analyse the work...???

There used to be a tool for illustrator that would detect open paths (a big no-no on iStock). I will have to see if I can find it and post a link.

...Later... Checkout: blog.dreamstime.com/2007/09/21/dealing-w...-in-2-steps_art24535 for some info.

thanks stockman for the reply, but the problem are not the open paths, witch you can detect with a plugin for illustrator....
the problem is more that on vectorstock they are selling lot of traced silhouettes. the more control points a path has the higher the quality...
but I m drawing my silhouettes out of fotos and of course they dont have as many control-points as an auto traced silhouette..
so the question is whats the criteria of an inspector and how do they evaluate a silhouette shape...is there maybe a plugin for illustrator too that can do do that???

(...sorry for my bad english...i hope this time i explained my question better)
