Hi folks! Nice to find another great stock photography related forum online here.

Just wanted to say hello and take two seconds to brag about having one of my images selected as Shutterstock's official 10 millionth-image. It was just a fluke, but it's cool to see how quickly some of these stock photography sites are taking off.

It might seem intimidating to start submitting photos to agencies when there are already so many good images online, but I think getting selected for this milestone made me think that the power of an image is the same whether it's the only one or one of ten million. You always have the potential to take that next great shot the next time you click your shutter.

If you're on the edge and wondering if stock photography is for you, I really recommend Shutterstock as a great place to start out. Go ahead and give it a shot for yourself if you haven't already!
