The 3D Studio is new to Stock Photos / Images but they are not a new company. They started in 1996 with offering offering 3D and 2D resources.

I signed up with them in the beginning of August 09. They managed with only part of my portfolio and less then a month to reach place 5 in my sales statistic for this month. I was not even interest to sign up with another agency in the moment, but after reading in another forum about contributors have good luck with sales there I decided singe up with them.

Upload process: fast (but you have to pick one category per image)
model/property release: one time upload and then just selection

The images are instantly live on our website and listed with an Editorial Only license. From there, reviewers will look at each and every image to see if it can be approved for a Royalty Free license.

The site does not look credible, based on its design.

That what I thought the first time I saw it too. But then I started to read about it in other forums that contributor had sales. And the information came from contributors that I trust. So I thought to give it a try. I signed up with them a little over a month ago and I received my first payout a couple of days ago.

I guess, yes their web design looks a little different, but more important for me is that they produce sales and pay on time. Fast and easy upload process and the images are online right away. Can't ask for much more.

Yea, they don't have the best design on the front page. But after some research they have been around for a long time, just in the 3d image world. I have started to give them a try.
