Somehow our system has lost its database and I hadn't made a backup in a few months (lesson learned). I am working withour hosting provider to get this back if possible. Hang in there....

Well it looks like the problem is here to stay. Mental note: take more backups. And save them on your own computer and burn them to DVD and look them in a fireproof safe
