I never thought I would see the day when earning $.30 per image is GREAT news! Shutterstock raised its commisions 20% for photographer today and this will hopefully help their rankings in our top microstocks for sellers. I have always liked the simplicity of submitting to Shutterstock, but find my images dull out (drop in sales) quickly. I will have to send a few more in and see if I can earn me a new camera or something!

While the raise is welcome, I have been noticing a sharp slowdown in my Shutterstock sales. So, 20% up in compensation, 20% down in sales, I'm suppose I'll do about the same.
